Global Netizens Celebrate Arrival of China’s Pandas in Georgia

On November 6, the Atlanta Zoo in Georgia welcomed two Chinese giant pandas, FingFing and Fushuang, beginning a decade‑long stay that will allow visitors to watch their growth and behavior. China Media Group provided extensive coverage, employing television, live‑streaming platforms, and social feeds to broadcast the event worldwide.

The organization’s "Panda POZ" channel kicked off a "Panda Welcome Week" that featured numerous photo and video posts from late October up to the arrival day. An interactive campaign titled "Share Your Panda Moments" invited audiences from different continents to contribute their own panda stories.

By November 7, viewership topped 2.4 million, highlighting the global fascination with the charismatic bears. Local visitor Jia shared her excitement, mentioning a two‑year wait for this moment. International commenter Emmanuel Chinyere Charity praised the pandas' welcome, calling it a remarkable new chapter for Atlanta.
