    HC censures Azam, order issued to recover damages

    Rampur. The troubles of SP leaders Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam are not showing any sign of abating. Now the High Court has issued an order to recover damages from them. Rejecting a petition, the court had imposed damages on him. Cases are going on against him in Rampur court. Both Azam and Abdullah are in jail. The Registrar of the High Court has ordered DM Rampur to recover compensation of Rs 50,000 from Azam and Abdullah Azam.

    This compensation amount will be recovered from Azam and Abdullah and deposited with the Legal Services Committee of the High Court. In the year 2022, Khan had filed a petition in the High Court through his lawyer, in which he had accused of forcefully creating chaos in Jauhar University. Also, UP government, Rampur DM, SP and Azimnagar police station were made parties in the case. During the hearing of the case, the court had rejected Azam’s petition and imposed a compensation of Rs 50,000 on him.

    Fine was imposed in this case

    This compensation amount will be recovered from Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam and deposited with the Legal Services Committee of the High Court. According to the information, in the year 2022, SP leader Azam Khan had filed a petition in the High Court through his lawyer. In this, he was accused of forcibly creating chaos in Jauhar University. Also, UP government, Rampur DM, SP and Azimnagar police station were made parties in the case.

    Compensation not paid for last 1 year

    In the hearing of the case, the court had rejected Azam Khan’s petition. In the case, the court had imposed a compensation of Rs 50 thousand on him. Which Azam Khan did not deposit for one year and three months. For this reason, the High Court has now issued orders for recovery of Rampur DM.
