India’s BRICS Chairmanship Yields Hundreds of Meetings and New Cooperation Platforms

The ministry highlighted that India’s leadership of the BRICS group this year produced a series of concrete outcomes.

More than 350 meetings were held across over 30 Indian cities, covering an MSME cooperation portal, global value‑chain integration, logistics frameworks, digital public infrastructure, scientific‑research repositories and startup collaboration.

These initiatives are described as a "whole‑country effort" that delivered roughly 150 practical results in food security, health, mental‑wellness, innovation and sustainable development, aligning with the priorities of the Global South.
