Sri Lankan hospitals continue to manage a high number of dengue patients. In response, India has dispatched 500 litres of technical malathion to the Sri Lankan health ministry.
Deputy High Commissioner Santosh Jha announced the donation via a social media post, stating that the move will bolster the island’s ongoing dengue containment efforts, providing frontline health workers with additional resources to reduce mosquito breeding sites.
