India Donates 43 Purebred Jersey Cows to Boost Bhutan Dairy

While touring the National Cattle Breeding Centre in Bumthang, the minister presented 43 purebred Jersey cows supplied by India. The livestock are intended to enhance dairy production and support local farmers. Officials noted that the breeding programme could benefit around forty thousand Bhutanese cattle owners, marking a significant step in agricultural cooperation.
