India drives BRICS cooperation on supply chains and innovation

Prime Minister Modi announced that the BRICS logistics supply‑chain cooperation framework will reinforce the resilience of worldwide supply chains. The framework is expected to reduce bottlenecks and enhance transparency across borders.

In parallel, the BRICS incubator network will connect startup ecosystems of all member states, enabling rapid sharing of technological know‑how. A dedicated BRICS startup innovation fund will provide capital to nurture scalable, innovation‑centric ventures.

The summit also introduced a digital agriculture network for farmers. By leveraging artificial intelligence, geospatial technology and digital public infrastructure, the network aims to tailor solutions to the real needs of agricultural communities.

Modi concluded by urging nations to identify emerging risks early and act swiftly, citing the new Integrated Early Warning System for infectious diseases and guidelines for disaster‑related early warning data as examples of proactive collaboration.
