India Sends Additional Relief Supplies and Experts to Flood‑Hit Nepal

During the regular press briefing in New Delhi, spokesperson Randheer Jaiswal affirmed that India will continue to provide aid to Nepal based on the latter's evolving needs. He clarified that in the coming days additional forensic kits, belly‑bridge equipment and other requested materials will be air‑lifted.

He added that two Indian aircraft flew 21 tonnes of relief goods to Kathmandu yesterday, contributing to the cumulative 95‑tonne delivery made by seven planes so far. The assistance package also comprises 54 personnel: 30 rescue experts, 19 forensic analysts and a medical team of five, all operating alongside Nepali authorities on rescue, recovery and forensic investigations.
