India urges OIC to pressure Pakistan over terrorism support

In addition to rejecting the OIC’s statements, India called on the Contact Group to advise Pakistan to rein in extremist elements operating from its controlled territories. The ministry highlighted Pakistan’s long‑standing record of sponsoring terrorism and urged the OIC to encourage Islamabad to conduct a serious self‑assessment and tackle the persistent terror threat emanating from its soil.
