India-Uzbek Partnership Aims for 'Developed India 2047' and 'Uzbekistan 2030'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest trip to Uzbekistan is expected to strengthen the strategic partnership that began with his first visit in 2015. In Tashkent, Modi and President Mirziyoyev will compare notes on their respective national roadmaps – India’s ambition to become a fully developed nation by 2047 and Uzbekistan’s target for 2030. The meeting will also review cooperation in emerging fields such as space technology, healthcare, critical minerals and business‑to‑business platforms. Officials say the dialogue will explore new avenues to expand bilateral trade, joint research programmes and cultural exchanges, building on previous interactions at SCO summits and BRICS meetings.
