Tragic news has emerged from Russia as the body of Ajit Chaudhary, a 21-year-old Indian MBBS student from Alwar, was discovered. Ajit was studying at Buxar State University in Ufa and had been reported missing since October 19. His body was reportedly found near a dam on Thursday, sending shockwaves through his family and community.
Initial reports from the Russian Police indicated that Ajit’s jacket and mobile phone were recovered from a riverbank in Ufa on October 20. His shoes were found in the vicinity shortly after. Ajit, a resident of Kafanwada village, had gone to the warden to get milk and never returned, according to his roommate.
The family had invested heavily in Ajit’s education, selling land to fund his medical studies. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance and death are being described as suspicious, prompting calls for a thorough investigation. Ajit had reportedly spoken to his mother and sister via video call on Diwali night, expressing his well wishes and looking forward to returning to India next month. The discovery of his body has brought immense grief to his parents and the entire family, who are now awaiting the repatriation of his remains.
