In light of the ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has taken measures to ensure the safety of Indian nationals in Tehran. Indian students have been relocated from the city through arrangements made by the Embassy. The MEA has also advised other Indian residents who can independently arrange their transport to move out of Tehran. Some Indians have been assisted in leaving Iran via the border with Armenia. The Embassy is committed to providing all necessary assistance to the Indian community. The conflict between Israel and Iran has entered its fifth day, with a reported 224 fatalities in Iran and 24 in Israel.
