Iran is reportedly preparing to take actions similar to those often attributed to Israel, which is known for identifying and targeting its enemies. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz posted a chart on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, alleging that Iran plans to assassinate senior Israeli officials. This list, released by Iran, includes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, described as a criminal against humanity, Katz, listed as a terrorism minister, former Israeli Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai, IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar (labeled a child killer), and other officials. In his post, Katz warned Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, referencing the ‘Red Wedding’ from the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’, which Israel has previously used as a code name for operations targeting Iranian officials. This situation follows an earlier Israeli operation, ‘Rising Lion,’ which destroyed most of Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile facilities during a 12-day conflict. Iran is now seeking to retaliate against Israel using similar tactics, having issued a kill list of its own.
