Iran launches 20 missiles at US base in Jordan, Jordan intercepts most

Hours after the United States struck five oil tankers linked to Iran, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps fired a salvo of twenty ballistic missiles toward a U.S. military installation in Jordan. Jordan's air‑defence network engaged the barrage, destroying eighteen missiles in flight while two fell in sparsely populated areas.
