During a 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran, Israel inflicted damage within Iran’s borders. Israeli forces targeted and eliminated senior Iranian officials in their secure locations. This has led to widespread praise for Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, globally. Mossad had established a covert network within Iran to target Iranian officials and leaders.
Iranian police announced the detention of approximately 21,000 suspects during the conflict with Israel. These arrests were based on information received from the public. However, the judiciary reported a figure closer to 2,000.
Police spokesperson Saeed Montezerolmahdi stated that the arrests resulted from 7,850 reports received via the national emergency line 110. He highlighted a 41% increase in public calls during the 12-day conflict, along with the detention of 21,000 suspects, indicating heightened public vigilance and involvement in ensuring national security.
