Multiple locations within Iran were targeted by Israeli forces on Tuesday, shortly after former US President Donald Trump declared an end to the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran. According to reports, the Israeli military initiated strikes in several areas across Iran. The events unfolded rapidly after Trump announced a ‘complete and total ceasefire’ via his social media platform, stating the ceasefire would take effect within approximately six hours. Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Sayed Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran was not the aggressor and that a ceasefire was not yet in place. He indicated that Iran would not escalate the situation if Israeli aggression ceased by a specific time.
