The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the elimination of three prominent Iranian military figures following an extensive airstrike across Iran. The officials, including the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and the Commander of Iran’s Emergency Command, were targeted in a strike involving over 200 fighter jets. The IDF labeled the officials as “ruthless mass murderers” and stated that the world is now a better place without them. This operation, codenamed ‘Operation Rising Lion’, was confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who stated its purpose was to counter the Iranian threat. Defence Minister Israel Katz has declared a national emergency in response to the ongoing actions in Iran. The operation targeted multiple military and nuclear sites.
