The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of Ali Shadmani, Iran’s War-Time Chief of Staff, in an airstrike in central Tehran. Shadmani, considered the regime’s top military commander and a close advisor to Ayatollah Khamenei, was targeted following precise intelligence. The IDF stated that this was the second such strike in five days. In addition to Shadmani’s death, the IDF reported extensive strikes on military targets in western Iran, including missile storage sites, launch infrastructure, and UAV storage sites. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the Israeli Air Force controls the skies over Tehran, emphasizing that they target regime objectives and not civilians. Iranian state media confirmed the death of Brigadier General Mohammad Kazemi, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ intelligence chief, and his deputy, Hassan Mohaqiq, in an Israeli strike. Earlier reports from the IDF confirmed the elimination of three Iranian military officials in strikes across Iran.
