Joint Statement from Over 40 Countries Reinforces Support for Ukrainian Sovereignty

A joint declaration read out by the Ukrainian foreign minister highlighted the participation of more than forty countries, ranging from Canada and Japan to Albania and Monaco. The signatories reaffirmed their commitment to the principles of the UN Charter and expressed solidarity with Kyiv against the Russian invasion. They called for the immediate protection of civilians, full respect for humanitarian law, and the creation of safe corridors for grain exports through the Black Sea.
