Joint Work Plan 2024‑28 Reviewed as India Seeks Deeper EU Ties via Poland

Later that afternoon, the minister met Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski to review progress on the 2024‑28 joint work plan. The review touched on trade and investment flows, cooperation in aerospace and digital domains, AI and semiconductor projects, defence procurement, education links, maritime logistics, mining, and energy cooperation. Jayashankar praised Poland’s support for a deeper India‑EU partnership and expressed confidence that the Free Trade Agreement will further solidify bilateral ties. Both officials also discussed supply‑chain resilience and the urgency of ensuring food, fuel and fertilizer security worldwide.
