Security forces from various districts of Manipur have arrested a large number of militants so far. According to the police, all the accused were involved in forcible recovery activities. These gangs mainly demanded money to resolve marital disputes. These militants were caught after the implementation of President’s rule in the state in February this year.

Constant action continues in Manipur
Seven militants have been arrested by security forces in various districts of Manipur. According to the police, two KCP militants were arrested from Imphal East district on Friday, who were involved in forcible recovery activities.
Apart from this, an active cadre of Chin-Kuki National Defense Force was caught from Tuibong area of Churachandpur district on Thursday. Police said that he was involved in activities like recruitment of youth for the organization, movement of arms and cadre across the border and recovery. An active member of the banned organization Prepak (Pro) was arrested on Friday from Wangkhai Ayangpali area of Imphal East, who was forcibly involved in recovery.
Apart from this, another member of the same organization was caught on Thursday from Mayang Longjing area of Imphal West. An active member of the banned United National Liberation Front (Pambai) from Sangiyumpum Cherapur Mayai Laikai area of Thulbal district was arrested, which was involved in forcible recovery activities.
Another member of Prepak (Pro) was arrested on Thursday from Tranonglaobi Makha Laikai in Bishnupur district. Police said that he was involved in the work of recruiting youth to the organization and sending them to Myanmar.
