In his complaint, he said that on January 28, people from nearby villages adjacent to the Yamuna river had gathered in the office of the irrigation department. Regarding this, people asked the irrigation department why the Haryana government poisoned the Yamuna river, which would lead to death of animals and people.
When asked the reason for this, people showed a video clip on social media, in which Arvind Kejriwal said that the Haryana government has added poison in the Yamuna river water.
Local people said that they have been told in the video that Delhi Root Board officials have reported poison in water, due to which the lives of many Delhiites have been saved. Later the crowd was pacified and people assured that the viral video claimed that there is no poison in the water and Arvind Kejriwal’s claim is absolutely wrong. After this, people went back and a petition was filed against Arvind Kejriwal.
