Key Sessions and Events Planned for BRICS Summit at New Delhi

New Delhi’s India Mandapam will host a series of high‑profile meetings and cultural events as part of the 18th BRICS summit on September 12‑13. The schedule includes a closed session titled “Inclusive Global Governance and Strengthening Multilateralism” at 2:35 pm on the first day, a showcase of Indian innovation at 4:25 pm, and a family photo‑op at 5:05 pm. An early evening tree‑planting activity will follow at 5:10 pm. The summit will culminate in a gala dinner at 7:30 pm, presided over by the Prime Minister. On the second day, partner‑country leaders will be welcomed at 9:55 am, with a joint photograph slated for 10:35 am. The open session that starts at 10:50 am will explore the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability: Shaping the Future for Inclusive Global Growth”.
