In a series of statements, he emphasized the readiness of the armed forces, backed by the support of the nation. He further declared that Iran would respond forcefully, showing ‘no mercy’ to Israel, and that life would become ‘bitter’ for Israelis. He also asserted that the Zionist regime would not escape the consequences of its actions. Khamenei highlighted that Iran’s armed forces would inflict severe blows on their enemy and that the Iranian people stand united in support.
