Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has denounced Israel’s approach to aid distribution in Gaza, labeling it a “cheap form of genocide.” Khamenei stated that Palestinians in Gaza are faced with the grim reality of perishing either from starvation or being shot while attempting to obtain food. He highlighted that a nation once devastated by costly bombs is now being killed in food lines by inexpensive bullets. UN data indicates that approximately 800 Palestinians have been killed in the past six weeks while seeking aid. UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini has also expressed deep concern, describing Gaza as a graveyard for children and starving people, accusing Tel Aviv of orchestrating a cruel scheme to kill. Ravina Shamdasani, a UN human rights office spokesperson, reported 798 killings near aid distribution points in Gaza between May and July 7. Reports indicate that Israeli soldiers and US contractors have admitted to shooting unarmed Palestinians gathering for food.
