During a Victory Day parade in China, attended by leaders from over 20 countries, the world’s attention was focused on North Korea’s Kim Jong Un and Russia’s Vladimir Putin. Kim Jong Un, Putin, and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif were present alongside Xi Jinping at the Victory Day parade. Prior to this event, Trump, on his Truth Social media platform, addressed China’s Xi Jinping, writing, “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.”
Kremlin official Yuri Ushakov refuted former US President Donald Trump’s accusations that the three leaders were plotting against Washington during the military parade in Beijing. He stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese leader Xi Jinping, and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un are not conspiring against the United States.
“I want to say that no one had any intention of conspiring (against the US). Furthermore, I can say that everyone understands the role of the United States, the Trump administration, and President Trump’s personal role in today’s global landscape,” Ushakov said in response to a media inquiry.
The People’s Liberation Army of China organized a large-scale military parade on Tiananmen Square in Beijing on Wednesday to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Leaders from approximately 23 countries, including Pakistan, North Korea, and Russia, participated in the parade. This parade is also seen as China’s show of force to the United States.
