A tragic mass shooting at a school in Graz, Austria, has resulted in the deaths of at least ten individuals. The victims included both students and staff members. The shooter, who was also a student, ended their own life.
The incident occurred at the BORG Dreierschützengasse high school. Emergency services, including special Cobra units and a helicopter, were swiftly deployed to the scene after authorities received a call at 10 am local time. Police confirmed that the school was evacuated and everyone was moved to a safe location. Authorities later declared the situation as ‘secured,’ indicating that the immediate danger had passed. Graz, the capital of Austria’s Styria province, has a population of approximately 300,000.
