Shimla. Membership of 6 rebel Congress MLAs in Himachal Pradesh has been cancelled. Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has disqualified these MLAs.
These MLAs include the names of Kutlahar MLA Devendra Bhutto, Gagret MLA Chaitanya Sharma, Lahaul Spiti MLA Ravi Thakur, Sujanpur MLA Rajendra Rana, Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma and Badsar MLA Indra Dutt Lakhanpal.
Assembly Speaker Pathania has given this decision under the anti-defection law. He said that these MLAs were not present at the time of passing the budget in the Assembly. I have disqualified him. These MLAs win from some other party and vote for some other MLA.
