A violent incident unfolded in Grand Blanc, Michigan, on Sunday when a 40-year-old man drove his vehicle into a church, initiated gunfire against those inside, and subsequently set the building ablaze. The attack resulted in at least four fatalities and left several others injured. The location of the shooting was The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where a large service was underway. The suspect, a man from Burton, Michigan, utilized an assault rifle, appearing to target individuals within the church. During the event, two officers engaged the gunman in a shootout, fatally wounding him. Authorities believe the suspect acted alone. At least eight people sustained gunshot wounds, and some are currently in critical condition.
