Milben Warns Mayor Mamdani Against Socialist Alignment

Renowned vocalist Mary Milben has warned New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani that his perceived alignment with socialist ideology places him on a harmful trajectory. In an exclusive discussion, Milben cited the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) as the organization influencing the mayor’s viewpoints.

She asserted that the DSA’s platform does not reflect the foundational democratic values of the United States, nor does it accurately represent how New York operates. According to Milben, many participants in the DSA lack essential insight into the country’s political mechanisms.

Milben’s statements were delivered while addressing questions related to the forthcoming New York appearance of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, whose upcoming program will center on themes of unity and cohesion.

She emphasized that the principal issue revolves around Mamdani’s claimed connection to the DSA, a group that partners with the Democratic Party on various electoral, labor, and social initiatives.

Although several of Milben’s personal contacts serve as Democratic elected officials, she clarified that they do not endorse the socialist agenda she alleges Mamdani follows.

Milben further accused Mamdani of endorsing a movement that opposes democratic principles and religious freedom, noting that his remarks appear aimed at both the RSS leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Despite the criticisms, she described Mamdani as a gifted young politician whose promise could be realized with a shift toward more conventional Democratic Party guidance.

Milben concluded by urging the mayor to rethink the language and ideological ties evident in his recent speeches, hoping he will recognize the perilous nature of the current direction.
