New Air Connectivity Expected to Strengthen India‑Vietnam Strategic Ties

During a two‑day visit to Hanoi on 17‑18 September 2026, an Indian civil aviation team met with Vietnam’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAAV) to negotiate the pending India‑Vietnam air services agreement. The prospective pact is designed to increase the frequency of direct flights, improve cargo lanes, and simplify visa procedures for travelers.
