New Delhi to Host Canada’s Anand for Energy and Security Dialogue

During her four‑day visit, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand is scheduled to sit down with India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar to discuss energy cooperation and regional security. The dialogue will build on recent trade growth and aims to identify joint projects in clean energy, critical minerals, and defence technology. Both sides see the partnership as essential for navigating shifting global economic and security landscapes. Ottawa emphasizes that sustained contact and high‑level engagement are critical for deepening the strategic relationship, especially as both nations seek to diversify supply chains and enhance defence readiness.
