Nine‑Day Ordeal Ends: Family Celebrates Survivor’s Return from Nepal Flood

After nine days of uncertainty, the family of Sanjay Sah rejoiced as he was rescued from the flooded tunnel of the Trishuli‑3A project. The disaster, which struck the region last week, left many workers missing and caused the death of 1,259 people.

The Nepalese army announced that both Sanjay and his colleague Kabir Maharjan were safely evacuated. Laxmi Kumari, Sanjay's wife, shared that the announcement restored hope for other missing workers trapped in similar hydro‑electric sites.
