Northern Cameroon village hit by deadly Boko Haram raid, one injured

In the remote northern province of Cameroon, the Boko Haram militia carried out a nighttime raid on the Madegoa community of the Logone‑et‑Chari division. The surprise assault left thirteen civilians dead instantly, while a fourth person suffered gunshot wounds and was admitted to hospital. Local authorities have not yet released a full investigation, but they suspect the strike is linked to earlier clashes in the area, including an August attack on Kangleari that claimed eight lives.
