Pacific Command Visit Reinforces Security Ties in Indo‑Pacific Region
Ambassador Gor also shared his impressions of a recent tour of the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM). In a series of X posts, he thanked Admiral John Paparo for the "inspiring" visit and described a close‑up look at the USNS Vermont, a C‑17 Globemaster‑III aircraft, an F‑22 Raptor fighter, and a Black Hawk helicopter.
Gor noted that observing the readiness and dedication of service members stationed in the Indo‑Pacific underscored the United States' commitment to regional stability. He highlighted the importance of high‑end defense cooperation, maritime awareness, and joint readiness among allied forces.
The ambassador also mentioned productive conversations with Regional Commander Admiral Kohler, General Schneider, and General Clark, confirming that continued engagement will accelerate collaborative defence initiatives and enhance collective response capabilities.
