Torrential rains have wreaked havoc in Pakistan, leading to widespread flooding across numerous areas. The Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara has been completely submerged, with water levels exceeding five feet within the complex. Over 100 people, primarily staff members, are stranded inside. According to sources, the Dhesi embankment near the Kartarpur Corridor has collapsed, contributing to the flooding. Rescue operations are underway, with individuals being evacuated via boats and a helicopter. The Kartarpur Corridor, inaugurated in 2019, is located approximately 4.1 kilometers from the Pakistan-India border.
