During a meeting of the UN Security Council, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, made a statement that has sparked considerable discussion in international circles. He noted the absence of non-Muslim names on the global terrorist list, calling it a significant issue.
The Pakistani ambassador alleged that non-Muslim extremists also promote terror and radicalism worldwide but are overlooked, while Muslims are unfairly targeted. This double standard, he argued, is not only unjust but also undermines the fight against genuine terrorism.
