Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, a Pakistani citizen formerly residing in Canada, has been extradited to the United States. He faces charges of attempting to provide material support to ISIS and planning acts of terrorism. The announcement came from FBI Director Kash Patel via social media. Khan allegedly plotted to carry out a mass shooting at a Jewish Center in Brooklyn, New York, timed to coincide with the anniversary of the Hamas attack in Israel. Canadian authorities arrested Khan in September 2024, and he is now in US custody. Patel highlighted the case as a reminder of the constant threat of global terrorism and the rise in threats against Jewish communities.
