Two significant earthquakes jolted the Kamchatka region off the eastern coast of Russia on Sunday. The first tremor, initially reported as 6.2, was later revised to a magnitude of 6.6. It struck at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.21 miles). Shortly after, a second earthquake, measuring 6.7 in magnitude, also hit the area at a depth of 10 kilometers. Both quakes occurred in a seismically active zone within the Pacific Ocean’s ‘Ring of Fire.’ No immediate reports of damage or injuries have surfaced.
