Prime Minister urges arrests after masked settlers assault Palestinian families

Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation on Saturday, condemning the recent violent raids by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank. He called the events in the villages of Kuseirah and Jalud “criminal acts” and appealed directly to law‑enforcement agencies to bring the attackers to justice.

Reports indicate that masked settlers entered Kuseirah, opened fire on residents, and later moved to Jalud where they assaulted a Palestinian household and damaged the cars of foreign press members. Several people sustained injuries.

The Prime Minister stressed that such law‑breaking behavior erodes Israel’s standing in the international community and hampers the Israeli Defense Forces’ missions in the territory.

He pledged full cooperation with security services to identify and prosecute those responsible for the assaults.
