PTI Seeks Fresh Hearing After Registrar Sends Defamation Petition Back

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court registrar returned the defamation petition filed by Imran Khan’s sister, citing objections to the filing. PTI alleges that the court’s August 18 order, which mandated the transfer of Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital and weekly family visits, was not implemented. Party leader Gohar Ali Khan said PTI will answer the registrar’s queries and re‑file the petition, urging the court to schedule an immediate hearing.
