New Delhi, September 13 — During a tabletop drill held in Tokyo, the Quad alliance sharpened its focus on the Indo‑Pacific Logistics Network, a collaborative platform designed to move supplies, equipment and personnel quickly when natural disasters strike. The exercise, scheduled after a May 2026 foreign ministers’ meeting, incorporated insights from previous tabletop and field exercises, emphasizing realistic disaster scenarios. Participants evaluated each nation’s logistical strengths, identified bottlenecks, and agreed on a set of standardized operating procedures that will streamline joint actions. The resulting SOPs will provide a durable institutional backbone for the IPLN, ensuring that relief operations across the Indo‑Pacific can be launched rapidly and managed cohesively.
