Defense Minister Rajnath Singh lauded Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s successful return from the Axiom-4 mission, calling it a moment of pride for India. He emphasized that Shukla’s journey to the International Space Station (ISS) and back elevates India’s space ambitions. SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft ‘Grace’ safely landed in the Pacific Ocean, marking the end of the nearly 19-day mission. The mission was a significant step in Indo-US space cooperation. The Ax-4 crew, including Commander Peggy Whitson, Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla, Slawosz ‘Suave’ Uznanski-Wisniewski, and Tibor Kapu, conducted over 60 scientific studies and numerous outreach events during their stay on the ISS.
