In Qingdao, China, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Tajikistan, Belarus, and Kazakhstan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers’ meeting. During these discussions, Singh briefed them on the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam and India’s Operation Sindoor, which targets dismantling terrorist networks based in Pakistan. Singh emphasized the importance of ongoing defence cooperation and explored avenues for technical collaboration. He also highlighted India’s progress in defence production and self-reliance. The leaders agreed to continue cooperation in areas such as capacity building, training, and military technical cooperation.
