Roadshow for Overseas Expansion Becomes Star Feature of Service Trade Fair

Beijing, September 15 – The China International Service Trade Fair introduced a dedicated road‑show area for companies offering services that help Chinese firms expand beyond national borders. The term “going overseas” topped the list of buzzwords among participants, signalling a strategic pivot from exporting goods to exporting entire business capabilities.

Representatives from Ernst & Young highlighted that Chinese enterprises are moving beyond product and capital export to exporting their full ecosystem, urging firms to not only go out but also understand overseas markets deeply.

The exhibition also featured a "China Service" case showcase where AI, large models and intelligent agents made up about 40 percent of the displayed solutions, reinforcing the narrative of a robust local innovation environment.

With the 15th Five‑Year Plan now emphasizing the service sector, foreign investors expressed renewed confidence, noting pilot projects in value‑added telecom, healthcare and wholly foreign‑owned hospitals as early signs of a more open market.
