Following a defense agreement, Saudi Arabia has extended a substantial investment to Pakistan. Go Ai Hub, a Saudi company, has announced its plans to establish technical training centers in Pakistan. The company aims to educate and train Pakistanis in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). According to reports, the initial phase will focus on training at least 50,000 Pakistanis, with an initial job creation target of 1,000. The company is expected to contribute to Pakistan’s goal of creating 3 million jobs in the AI sector in the future.
Pakistan had sought investment from Saudi Arabia since the defense deal. Pakistan has been seeking deals with Riyadh in the health, communication, and other sectors. Recently, Saudi Arabia expressed its intention to invest in the health sector, but Go Ai Hub has already announced its investment. Go Ai Hub is a Saudi company headquartered in Riyadh. The company primarily connects cutting-edge AI solutions with government institutions and businesses across Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia entered into a defense deal in September 2025, stipulating that an attack on one country would be considered an attack on both. This deal was initiated after an Israeli attack on Qatar. As a result of this deal, Saudi Arabia has gained nuclear protection. Pakistan is the only Muslim country in the world with nuclear weapons. According to SIPRI, Pakistan possesses approximately 170 nuclear weapons. It is suggested that Pakistan offered nuclear protection to Saudi Arabia in exchange for investment.
