South Korea warns of Russian flights near Dokdo, Ullungdo islands

South Korean military officials issued a warning after Russian military jets were observed entering the Air Defense Identification Zone surrounding the strategic Dokdo and Ullungdo islands. Although the aircraft left the zone within minutes, the incident prompted heightened alertness among the Republic of Korea Air Force. The government reiterated that the KADIZ serves as a safety buffer and does not equate to a breach of sovereign airspace.
