South Korean forces detect North Korean rocket launches on border

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff reported that on September 22 they observed multiple rocket launches from the North Korean side of the Demilitarized Zone, heading toward the western maritime area of South Pyongan Province. Analysts are currently examining the technical data of the launches to assess the new guidance and range capabilities of the 240 mm system.
