Strategic Dialogue Between China and Russia Highlights SCO Future

During the concluding day of the SCO summit, President Xi and President Putin underscored the deepening strategic coordination between China and Russia amid volatile international conditions. Putin praised the growing comprehensive partnership, citing shared values of equality, mutual trust and support.

He highlighted Russia’s intent to maintain high‑level engagement with China across trade, energy, industry, transport and technology, and to strengthen cultural exchanges. Both leaders called for a stronger, united SCO that can lead global governance reforms and expand balanced multipolarity.
