Strategic Pillars of India's BRICS Chairmanship Highlighted

India’s tenure as BRICS chair is built around three strategic pillars: political‑security coordination, economic‑financial integration, and cultural‑people exchange. To operationalise these pillars, more than 350 high‑level meetings have been scheduled across 25 Indian cities.

Business‑to‑business delegations, academic forums and cultural showcases are part of the outreach drive. The government says these initiatives have already yielded tangible outcomes, such as joint financing projects, technology sharing agreements and people‑to‑people contacts that deepen mutual understanding among the blocs.
