Parul Kanwar, granddaughter of the elderly woman, has alleged that her grandmother was not given any first aid at the airport. Wheelchair did not get wheelchairs despite booking
Parul said that the family had already booked wheelchairs for flight from Delhi to Bangalore on March 4. But on arriving at the airport, the wheelchairs were not provided, despite requesting several requests from Air India employees, airport help desk and other airline staff several times. He wrote that in the absence of alternative, the old woman had to walk on the three parking lane of T3 New Delhi with the help of a family member.
